Miro Kenarov and his wife Maria Kenarova are Bulgarian-born artists currently residing in Santa Fe, New Mexico. They are professionally trained and specialized in different art media but create collaborative work as well. In this collaboration they combine fragments of Miro’s paintings printed on canvas and placed on top of ceramic panels created by Maria.
In 1989 the Berlin Wall came down and the world became open for them to explore. In that same year their son was born. An adventurous spirit led them to Albuquerque, New Mexico, where Miro was accepted to specialize in fine art lithography at the Tamarind Institute at the University of New Mexico.
Now, many years after arriving in the “Land of Enchantment” they are part of the large community of artists in Santa Fe and will be glad to meet you in person the next time you visit New Mexico!
